UK Holiday Let Insurance
Specialist Home Insurance for UK Holiday Lets
Holiday homes that are let to paying guests face different risks from homes that are occupied all year round. Unlike a main home, it may be occupied by different guests throughout the year and left unoccupied between bookings. Because of this, standard home insurance may not always provide cover for holiday lets.
Our specialist home insurance for holiday lets is designed to protect your property, both inside and out. It includes cover while your holiday let is occupied by guests for short stays and when it is left unoccupied between bookings.
When a house is left empty, it is more vulnerable to damage from theft, vandalism, escape of water, and storms. Our house insurance for holiday lets can help protect your property against unexpected damage, giving you added peace of mind.

Why UK Holiday Let Insurance Matters
Many standard home insurance policies place restrictions on how long a property can be left unoccupied. This is typically between 30 to 60 consecutive days. For holiday lets in the UK, it's common for holiday lets to be left unoccupied for longer than these limits.
When a holiday let is left unoccupied, it means a higher risk of problems not discovered straight away. For example, escape of water from a burst pipe, and damage from attempted theft. The longer these issues go unnoticed, the more serious the damage and repair costs can become.
That's why specialist holiday let home insurance is worth considering. It helps protect your holiday let against unexpected incidents and provides peace of mind that suitable cover is in place for the way your home is used.

That's why specialist holiday let property insurance is often the most appropriate option for the way the property is used.
